How do I add my listing?
OK. So you are ready to place your details on the Trail Chamber Directory. Here is how you can do it. STEPS TO ADD A MEMBER LISTING
Go to the Trail Chamber home page.
Add your username and password in the Member Login form.
Select Directory > Categories from the top menu on the web site.
Choose the correct category to add your member listing.
Once you have selected the correct category, click "Add your listing here"
Type in your member listing information.
We suggest you have your information ready in a word document so you can cut and paste the information into the appropriate fields.
Add the appropriate META keywords for your listing. META keywords are search terms that will help people find your business, so choose the right keywords that can help narrow the search down for site visitors.
Add a META description, which is a short descriptive paragraph about your member listing.
Check the listing information, then click "Submit" to submit your new listing.
Please note that your listing will first need to be approved by the Chamber staff before it is shown on this website.
How many listings can I add? You are not limited to the number of businesses that you can add. But do note that we only allow you to add one listing per business. Please make sure that your details are added to the correct category; eg: if you own a Bed and Breakfast don't add it to Property. I don't have a website to add to my listing. What now? A website can definitely help you in marketing your business but is not necessary for your listing. If, however, you are interested in your own website, and want to find out how affordable it can be for your small business, then do Contact the Trail Chamber for website development information.
How long will this take me? To add your listing will cost you very little time, especially for the benefit your listing will receive from being listed properly in the Chamber Member Directory; in only the few minutes it takes you to type in your details, you can help improve traffic to your business. And this can help to increase sales.
The only time it will cost you is if you want to have your listing featured.
There is no category for my listing. What do I do? If you can't find a suitable category to place your business listing please send us a comment through the Contact form and it will be created.
What does featured listing mean? To have your listing featured basically means that it will be highlighted making it more visible on the website when visitors browse the Member listings. It will also be placed above all other listings in your category and will be the first advert that visitors see when browsing.

Featured listings are also randomly shown on various pages of this website for more exposure. To have your listing featured will cost you a small fee. Please contact us to have your listing prioritised.
Why must I login to add my member listing? The listing process requires that members be registered on the site as a unique member (ID) and this allows members to manage their own member listing, so it can be changed, updated, and managed 24/7/365 days a year by chamber members, or those people who submit listings and this keeps the site member information up to date.
As a chamber member you will be able to add your listing to the relevant category for your business. Another feature of being a chamber member is the ability for you to add any of your business events in our very popular events calendar.
