Downtown Trail
Trail is a commercial centre for the region. Wander the streets of downtown Trail and take your pick of stores. Do your banking, clothes shopping, buy a book on the area, or pick out a pair of skis. You name it, you can shop for it in downtown Trail.
East Trail Shopping
Shopping satisfaction is never far away. From cars to curios, flowers to fireplaces, paintings to perfume and one-of-a-kind art works and crafts the City of Trail has it all.
Gulch The Gultch, (Rossland Ave), began as the centre of activity for the Italian Community almost a century ago. Many of the commercial and social establishments remain. The Gultch exists as one of British Columbia’s largest collections of turn-of-the-century buildings with wooden false fronts.
Waneta Shopping
Check out the Waneta Mall with over 30 stores it is the largest mall in the West Kootenay Region and only a five-minute drive from downtown Trail.
Near the Waneta Mall is the Canadian Tire and Walmart.
Fruitvale Known as the best fruit growing areas in the West Kootenay, Fruitvale is home to the Columbia Gardens Vineyards and Winery and has been recognized for it’s wide selection of wines and wine tasting.
