Attractions

With an exciting history of pioneers and gold mining, it is difficult not to feel nostalgic for days gone by. Perhaps it is the facades of the old Heritage Buildings or the faint sense of prosperity that lingers from the gold mines. Whatever lures you, we have the attractions to entice you! Explore the historic LeRoi Gold Mine, tour Cominco and learn how a little smelter became a World leader in Lead and Zinc production. Take in a production of the famous Gold Fever Follies or catch the Boom Town Garter Girls in action! Then visit the Trail Sports Hall of Fame and discover where many of your favorite athletes were born and raised in the West Kootenay.
