In 1896, Frank Hanna, one of Trail’s founding fathers, assembled a meeting consisting of 45 people. The result of that meeting was a decision to continue to meet every Monday night on, “Matters pertaining to the health of the City and its protection from fire”. The Board of Trade, as it was then known, was finally registered on December 11th 1900.

Vision:

The Trail District Chamber of Commerce is working in a cooperative environment with community leaders to ensure Greater Trail is an efficient, prosperous and dynamic community.

Mission Statement:

The Trail District Chamber of Commerce exists to provide leadership in the growth of a progressive and financially strong community by assisting members in improving their competitiveness.
